Two Studies Confirm That Real Meat Is Better Than Fake Meat

Real Meat

A paper out of New Zealand found that people who consumed Beyond Burger fake meat had significantly lower concentrations of amino acids in their blood post-meal than people who consumed lamb, pasture-raised beef, or grain-fed beef. A paper out of China found that plant-based beef or pork analogs “weakened digestive function” and “showed less digestibility” than real beef in mice. Should this really come as a surprise? Hominids have been eating meat for at least 2 million years. Fake meats are highly processed “frankenfoods” that our bodies don’t know what to do with.
