Is Oatmeal A Healthy Breakfast Option?

As a follow up from our previous post, oatmeal is indeed better if it is whole oat groats which take the longest to cook and might make you full the longest compared to the other varieties that are quick cooking (especially if you add fat and protein like heavy whipping cream and and protein powder). BUT it most likely won’t be as filling if you just have eggs with avocado or Greek yogurt with nut-based granola.

I’ve also heard stories from others who have done this, in addition to rice being another huge culprit (and grain products in general!).
